I first came to Ketchikan for commercial fishing many years ago….I won’t say how many. Massage was never on my radar as a career choice. Touch and thoughtful listening are not exactly highly valued qualities within that world!

However, after years of repetitive stress as well as congenital onset hip displasia and other health challenges, i was at a breaking point. On my journey to restoring my health and i received my first bodywork session from my soon to be mentor. It was a revelatory experience, and i was immediately inspired to pursue the profession and offer to others the kind of healing i had received.
